As for the label thing, I have seen many people provide you with the label they used rather than an 'official' vet record/statement, and there is nothing wrong with that in my opinion (as far as for vaccinations, I still would want them vet checked obviously).
Just an example...and this is info from vet/animal control officials. If I vaccinate the puppies myself--not rabies, mind you--should the matter arise before the pup's next set of vaccinations (at 1 year) that it bit someone and they reported it, sued, etc. The state would not view the vaccinations I did as "valid" and the standard hold the dog in quarrantine for xxx days and run whatever deemed tests would apply. Does that make sense?
Yeah, I'm sure she'd sign off on them, but at the current moment, I think FOR ME that having her there every step is important.:) |
