It depends on what kind of breeder you want to buy from. There are many breeders out there, some just breed two dogs together, doesn't matter what they look like or the size, they could have many problems that you can't even see. These dogs you can probably get cheep!! And there are breeders that invest a lot of time and money into their dogs, they study pedigrees, they invest time and money into showing their dogs to insure they are breeding quality . They invest money into testing and vet. care to make sure you get a healthy dog. The good breeders stand behind their dogs and are there to help when you need it. Sure these dogs will cost more, they are worth it. So you need to decide what is important to you, do you want to take a chance, on something that is mass produced at a cheep price, because there are plenty of these kinds of breeders out there, or you could save your money and try and find a reputable breeder. Or you can always find a nice rescue dog that needs a great home. There is a big difference in price, because there is such a big difference in breeders.....What ever you decide I am sure you will be happy with your puppy!!! Yorkies are the best!!!! How much for yorkie girl? We have one female yorkie that we are going to have to sale. She will not have papers but she is purebred. Mom was ACA and dad was AKC. I never filled out papers because never thought I'd breed them and papers are not that important to me. She seems like she will be bigger, like I'm guessing 6-8 pounds even tho mom and dad are both only 4 pounds each. I paid 900$ for my female yorkie and 800$ for my male yorkie. I've never sold a puppy so with this info could you guys give me a ball park of a good price for her? Thanks so much in advance. ;) |
A show puppy. I really doubt you would get one from a show breeder. They breed for there next Showdog. They won't sell it unless they know you and may want some breeding rights. If that were the case the op wouldn't be asking. But someone telling you its a "Show" puppy and they are going to charge you $2k I would be skeptical. That being said in my area from the reputable breeders I know. With papers or without they are the same price. They register there breeding. Some ppl don't and want to pump out puppys. $1500 would be the average. My three dogs have. Different lines. But 2 come from Oliver the Legend. WC 3 steps up. One from WC Felix from 2011 BOB Westminster. Point is Champions line all through. Still pet quality. For $2+ there should have Champion sire and dam and all down the lines. I've meet breeders whos pups had Ch lines 4-5 generation back. But the breeding went haywire. Don't look good . Don't seem healthy and wanted big $$ Buyer beware. I would rescue before I support bad breeding |

Breeding un registered dogs lineage unknown purebred status unproven ACA registers anything. Well the best advice I can give you is what do mixes go for in your state then price accordingly. |
Have you considered adopting a rescue? Check out RescueMe.org They may not be show quality(that's often why they get dumped) but I can attest that there are many BEAUTIFUL dogs available for cheap or even free. Some are older, some are strays, some are rehabilitated breeders. They all need good homes. All my Yorkies are rescues and I have fostered and rehomed many more. |

I would really advise that you screen your puppy buyers carefully and sell her to someone that is not interested in breeding. We would love to see pictures of her if you have any to share. Just so you know, you posted your question on a very old thread. I think some of the replies are in regards to the original question the OP asked that started this thread. It is best to start a new thread when you have a question. |
