urinating a lot? Silk has not come into heat yet. We expected her to about a month ago. Now she is peeing a hundred times every time she goes out and follows the others around and pees where they do. My husbnad says his beagles do that for a week or two before they come into heat. Does this mean she might be getting ready to come in? Her little wuzzy cat is as tiny as ever. Bout the size of a pea but Ceeby has also been taking more of an interest in her. |
sounds like she could be getting ready. To me, it's the same as a male marking. Just be glad she's doing it outside. A friend of mine's female will mark inside her house!:eek: |
That's what I thought. All three of mine are getting really good about going potty outside. Yesterday, we were gone for several hours and no one peed in the house. Of course, they do still do that but it is on their pads. I can't get them to pooping on their pads for anything. How long do these females mark before they come in heat? It has been about a week now. She isn't swollen the least bit. I've really been watching that because Ceeby is still too young and hasn't had his stud testing yet so i sure don't want him to get her. |
Our Paris in 9 months and around her woohoo is swelling. She is peeing like mad!! So I know it will be very soon. She is going to be a woman dog! I am so excited :) except it will not be fun around here with two male dogs in the house too. One is a stud dog and he is going to be MAD! I already told him he can't touch her - not this time! :cool: |
