Original Burgandy Line of Yorkies????
 
I found my "old breeder"..yippee......now to find someone who has the original burgandy line......for that short, cobby, thick silky coat....with a cute face..

Any one have any ideas?????????

She is not breeding Yorkies anymore though.....so I am now on a new mission....:D

I do not know these breeders at all, I just did a Google search and found a few that mention the Burgundy line. Here's the links:

I don't have the original line, but my puppies have Burgundy Wee Valentino, Burgundy Wee Molly, and Burgundy Wee Victor about 3 gen back.

Another litter due this Friday.

These two girls were born on Dec 12, 2005.

i had never heard of the burgundy line until you guys came on with it and then I looked again at Silk's pedigree. I am still clueless. Is this an outstanding line with champions? the reason I ask is because Ms. Coburn told me that Silk came from her "old championship line". I have yet to find that. Even with Judabob ib her name, there are no Judabob's in her pedigree. Only Burgundy. So I guess I need to research that, right?

it is the name of the line. Also you will see it in the registration. For instance one of my dogs had a grandsire named "Burgundy's Wee Muffin Man". has nothing at all to do with the color altho I can see where you wuld ask that because of the previous post saying they loved that color.

Sherman's mother's daddy is Ch Burgundy Wee Justa Spirit ( aka Jesse). Valerie Witcsher owns him and she lives in Temple GA. Hope this helps! :)

Shirley are you looking for Burgundy line pups to show or for a pet? Valerie currently has a male listed in the for sale but I'm not sure if he's still available. She is friends with Becki aka DazzlinYT. I'm sure she could help you locate the line and a show prospect! Here is a picture of Sherman's grandfather Jesse who is CH Burgundy Wee Justa Spirit. I think he may have that look and that cobby body you're looking for, he's so much more gorgeous in person. In fact my husband who doesn't know a darn thing about yorkies wanted to take him home! I tried to attach his pedigree too but not sure if it'll work. It's from Valerie Witscher's site.

Thanks for the info. I know Becki. In fact she has mentioned Valerie several times, she speaks very highly of her and that little Burgandy Champ. The Burgandy line is sometimes darker than is allowed in the ring....I just found this out a while back. But, I think Val's boy is awesome.

The coat color is not always dark, just some of the non show pups that I have seen are too dark.

I have a Smiley yorkie, and he is wonderful. He rarely barks and has a wonderful personality.

The breeders are extremely nice and have several yorkies of their own. They are born and raised inside of the house and are very well taken care of.

I can't wait to get my next puppy, and I will certainly only buy from them. I highly recommend the Smileys.

This is my males grandmother. Her mom was Judabob's Tyler Bearegard. Great great grandmother is Burgandy Wee Muffin Man.
