Blue Puppy?? A neighbor of mine knows someone who just had two litters of yorkie pups and she mentioned to her that I also have two litters and she asked for my number. I told my neighbor that was fine I would love to talk to someone who lives around here who has bred before. My neighbor was telling about this ladies dogs and she asked if they can be silver - I thought she was talking about the adults but she was talking about the pups. She said that two of the pups (from the same litter) were a silvery color or almost a powder blue. I haven't seen or had a conversation with this breeder yet but it sounds to me like these could be blue puppies - what do you all think? I am anxious to talk to her to see if these really could be blues and what kind of shape they are in and if she will now spay her female and/or the stud, I do know she used at least one stud because she told my neighbor her male wouldn't tie with her girls. I'd love to hear what you all think I hate to think (for her) that she actually does have blues and needs to alter her dogs. |
I think you need to take a look. But from your description they sound blue. |
Do you find out anything about the "blue" pups? Did you see them? |
Your description is based on second-hand info but sounds as if these might be blue borns. When you go see her, ask to take pics and post if you or she has any interest in sorting his out. Also, search the forum for blue borns and you will find quite a bit of info on here. And, BTW, congrats on your 2 litters.. |
