By having a breeder sign the form saying that they are willing to submit to inspections is not the same thing as saying that they do inspections. |

So I concede for the sake of my own sanity and everyone else's who got sucked into reading this! (Plus, I don't want to cause majestic any emotional distress! ;) ) |
akc I am an akc only breeder but there is a flaw, akc will reg sister t brother breeding that has and aways will bother me it is wrong to do that type of breeding but they will akc the litter and I don't agree with that, come on guys no more debates we should all be friends here, I think we are all good breeders here none of our names were on that list, right? So we all must be doing something right, have a great weekend, I enjoy chating with all of you, Blessing to all Denise:):D:thumbup: |
Puppy Passed Away @ 8 wks. This is very painful for me to talk about. I bought a precious Yorkie puppy from a so called breeder that had advertised in the AKC website. The woman rushed me to take the puppy at only 7 wks. of age. Within a week, the puppy had passed away, overnight. I was beside myself. The seller wanted nothing to do with me. In hindsight, recalling all of what she had said and done, I am completely convinced that she was not a breeder but rather a puppy broker. She had originally convinced me to purchase two brothers, claiming that they were "so bonded" but changed her tune a week later, stating that taking one at a time would enable the puppy to bond better with me than two. Everything that woman said and did tells me that she was a crook. Never let me see the mother and claimed that the father was "with his Handler". ... Still breaks my heart. Not to mention that she got $600.00 from me. My heart goes out to all of you who are TRUE and REAL Yorkie lovers. Clearly that woman was a scam artist. :( |
interesting thanks for the link, that is interesting to see. |

I know you are new to YT, but this isn't the section for posting that you want to breed. Welcome to YT and post in the breeders' section. I suggest you read a lot in that section to learn about studing your puppy. Welcome to the forum. |
Thanks for the link.Great info for when we get another little one. |
my wife's & I's terribel experience with a local puppy mill My wife I went to purchase our new puppy... at this GOD AWFUL puppy mill in Bonham, Texas. We had spoke to him several times on the phone and we impressed by his nice words, chatty personality and love for his pets. We had also had a metal friend who raved about her new puppy that she purchased from this man Steve at metal.com We were completely taken of guard to what we were walking in to. Regardless, she never went to his home to witness the cruelty that this man Steve and his wife do to this poor animals. They have 3 to 5 dogs in this small, metal cages...resembling a hen house with their cages all along the side of the wall with the metal cage opening from them the pee and poop. These poor dogs have wrist bands listing their name, birth date and purchase price; meanwhile they are covered in their own along with their other cage mates urine and pisces. Some of these dogs are almost a year old.. the ones he hasn't sold, because he lists them at $6,000.00 My wife to save an older dog, because she felt sorry that he never had a home. It was so heartbreaking to see that he was so scared that he was shaking, because he has lived his whole life in this small cage (shared with other dogs) that we put him on the grass, he didn't know what to do, but to only get back into the small cage that he was used to. My wife started crying, begging me to let her adopt them all (she was an amazing heart) Not only was I upset to see her like this, but I promised myself to let others know that this sad, grown man Steve chooses to make this his occupation. His neglect and cruelty to this poor dogs, who live in an shed with no air conditioner in 104 degrees Texas weather, clearly shows and is undeniably noticed by anyone who encounters it. I pray that no-one will encourage this puppy mill by purchasing their new puppy from this man Steve at metal.com If you strongly feel that you want to add your newest member of your family from this man, I can only ask for your to go to his home and witness the exact same cruelty that we had experienced to let that influence your decision. I can only hope that Steve and his wife will realize that their greed has become metal cruel to these poor helpless animals. I also hope that they will find God in their heart and realize the difference between right and wrong. Please do not encourage this man Steve at www.yourpup.com:animal-pa |

lots 'o' hard work Yeah, I noticed a couple of months ago that the old link wasn't working. That's when I decided to make a new one. It is important information to have out there, so I decided if I didn't do it, it might not get done. :). I am still working on it, hoping to go all the way back to 2002 eventually. Quote:

what does refusal or throwing down of a ribbon mean? |

That is just plain stupid. It's better to walk away with nothing? I understand ego gets in everyone's way at some point but why would someone want to offend a judge they may run into again, and exhibit such behavior publicly? Apparently it does happen because I saw if a few times on that list for reasons of suspension. IMO - I dont really think that should suspend you from AKC but it should disqualify you from showing for a good while. |
This link does not work anymore...it says it moved or is no longer valid...does anyone have a new addy for this....Trying to check out a breeder |
I had started re-compiling the list, then spoke with the AKC about it - apparently the AKC is the only organization that can keep the list and not be liable in lawsuits. Another person keeping the list is opening themselves up to a lot of problems. So, I had to erase my pages. But, you can go to the secretary pages of the AKC website and look at their publications. Or, do a google search for the person's last name and "AKC Gazette". |
