parti question for the breeders.... I have been following a breeder on my facebook...when I was looking for winnie she was one I considered but she didn't have any pups at the time....but I have noticed with her new litter she keeps saying "rare parti color" ....they are black and white and tan.....I am just wondering why she keeps saying "rare" when parti yorkies are not rare? She does breed parti to standard. ...I'm really just curious if there's really something rare about them.... |
No, rare is a term used to make more money like the word teacup in my opinion. |

Thank you....I just was not sure....it's hard to tell nowadays...I'm not looking for a pup in no way shape or for lol but I still follow her. Her puppies are beautiful though! |
I myself would not use the word "rare"to describe the tri colored yorkie or any other of the "off colored" yorkies (chocolates, goldens etc.) they are not the traditional colors and in the past, they were more unusual, but they are becoming much more common place every day. We are allowed to register them with the AKC however we are not allowed to show them as the YTCA does not recognize any coloration other than the blue/tan. I would possibly use the word "unique" as a descriptive word in place of rare.. the patterning of each puppy can be very different from each other and some of the variances in color can be be extremely unique and beautiful.
