Yep, not a typo. I have NEVER had a baby this small.

It has been an ordeal keeping her going, but so far, so good ..... all things considered.

We call her Tee-Tee.

Oh my goodness, I bet that has been an ordeal.

I pray that all will be well with her. Does she have any litter mates?

Good luck, hope she does ok. That is just scary to someone like me with absolutely no experience in breeding or raising lil ones.

She's from a litter of 6 ....... 5 girls and 1 boy.

All the others are small ...... charting to be 3 1/2 to 4 pounds. Tee-tee looks soooo small in comparison. Mom is 7 1/2 pounds and Dad is 4 pounds.

She's been a real challenge. I haven't had a full stretch of sleep in 2 months. She is beautiful, though; just minature.

I have plenty of experience, but nothing really prepares one for something like this. She is scary small and I constantly fret over her.

I only have a phone now and don't see how to post a pic from it. Maybe my son can help me with that. I'd love to 'show her off'. I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

I'm so curious. What was her birth weight? Did she nurse or did you tube or bottle feed? Do the Mom and siblings accept her as a normal part of the pack or are you raising her separately?

I'd sure like to see her, and most of all I just hope she continues to do well.

Jim -- it's SO great to see you here - you are missed by so many!

I can't believe how tiny this wee one is! How scary it must've been at first with her, I imagine....keeping her safe, warm, fed. But, she is in excellent hands with you, so I've no doubt she will thrive.

Yes, we must see a piccie!

Do you think you will keep her? Bc how difficult to find a home that you trust with one this small, ya know?

That's amazing! I would love to see a picture of her next to something that will show her size. I bet she fits in the palm of your hand.

I hope your little one continues to thrive under your care.

It's wonderful to see you back. Your advocacy for animals and your willingness to lend a hand is always inspiring and heartwarming.

The whole litter had birth weights between 3 and 4 ounces. Tee did just fine with the litter until they began to eat. She simply wouldn't (and still won't) eat enough to sustain herself. I've been hand/force feeding her since she was about 6 weeks old.

We pulled her from the litter at that time. I now have only 1 sister left and she and Tee are bunkmates. They do well together, even though her sister is much bigger (almost 2 pounds).

Ann, as I told Sandy, Tee did fine at first. The issues came later.

I REALLY don't need another dog and would love to find a suitable home for Tee. That, at the moment, is out of the question, however. She IS making progress, though. Today I had her out trying to get some pics and she started chasing Gracie(one of our cats) around the yard. I've never seen that gear in her before!

Also, instead of around-the-clock feedings, I only have had to feed her at 6am, 10pm, 2am. She eats enough to get herself through the day now. It's been that way for almost a week. It's small progress, but I'll take it. Plus, she's just seeming to have a higher energy level. I'm hoping this keeps up.

I got some pics today, but didn't put her next to anything to show her size. She's very small, but not as small as you might imagine. Or maybe I'm just used to her. Her sister is just under 2 pounds and dwarfs Tee.

I couldn't get them to post from my phone, but will be going to my brother's house tomorrow and get them posted from his computer.

Well, she's only just recently turned the corner where I would say she's doing well. Up til then, it was more a touch and go situation filled with constant worry. I definitely felt I was in uncharted waters with her.

Actually, I've been scared to post about her up to now. I really didn't want to get on an emotional roller coaster online. That I'm doing so know should tell you that I'm cautiously optimistic.
