Add about $6000.00 to the coffers!! None of all those extra expenses for vaccinations, well baby checks, none of the work involved with weaning, potty training.....wonder if they are going to be accountable to new owners if the babies DO have major health issues.

You are an experienced breeder; what does it mean when the pups are born all blue but with some white spots? Is it the same as blue born?

Fortunately, all the years I have done this, I have never had one show up in my breeding program. From what I have been told, they are indeed born greyish bluish....like a Weimerainer (so wrong spelling!!), with pinkish tanish whitish points, and usually blue or green eyes. Is that what this litter is???????

Of course they won't. They don't care if the pups die I bet as long as they get there money.

They dont even know what they have.....if these ARE blue borns, they are selling them to people that, Lord help us, will probably use them for breeding.....and the beat goes on. You kind of suspect something "unusual" in the pedigree...when is the last time you had a yorkie deliver 9 puppies?

What's up with this YorkieTalk FB anyway :confused: Somehow I'm a member and not even sue how that happened. :confused::confused::confused: it's got a link back to YT but I now know it's not part of this forum.

I tried to look for the post with the puppies and didn't see it. But did see the ongoing Misa posts. :rolleyes: seems very decepitive to me.

On the post with the puppies, the person removed it.

I don't see the post about the puppies anymore. They probably sold them all already. It's amazing how easy it is for someone like that to sell the puppies so quickly. It just shows how many people will buy a pup without doing any research first. I know I was one of those people, considering I bought a "morkie" from a BYB, but luckily I know better now. I did at least research the breeder first and spoke directly to people who had bought from them in the past, but I still would have done things differently if I knew what I know now.

I feel sorry for those blue borns. Whoever bought them has no idea that they have special health issues and I hope the new owners are up to the task and do right by them.

It worries me so much I have tried contacting the breeder about it but they are not interested.

Yes, they are in GREAT demand and sell like hot cakes.....but it just shows how many "breeders" will throw two unknowns together, end up with puppies of questionable health, and then just dump them on unsuspecting clueless people....no researching the new buyers to see if they even have the capability to care for this new little life this "breeder" is responsible for bringing into the world. Of course, that is because the only thing that matters to these "breeders" is the $$$$ they can get for these unfortunate little souls. and how quickly they can get it. Absolutely zero concern or worry about these babies futures.:mad:

There are still a lot of people out there who think they can get a good Yorkie for $1000 or less. They don't give a hoot that they'll be buying from a puppy mill or BYB for that price range. They just want something they can proudly show their friends is a "Yorkie."

And don't forget lots of people who are duped into buying one OVER $1000 from a byb, broker, or petshop! Just bc it's pricey doesn't make it better! That goes for lots of things, not just puppies.

I really am worried about the blue borns. Don't they usually not even make it past one year old? I remember reading about blue born Mack on here, and his first bday was a huge accomplishment.

Seriously? Did you even look at any of the links posted? They never were going to come back for advise. They planned on breeding and selling the pups and they have done everything wrong and don't care to know the right way. They are not doing what's right for the breed or the puppies and so on.

Especially in regards to the blue borns. They are being sold to unsuspecting people and who knows what their fate will be. In order to have blue borns, both parents have to be carriers of the gene, and should never be bred again (never mind that they should never have been bred in the first place). And the other 7 that weren't blue born have a 50% chance of being carriers and if they are bred they can pass the gene to their offspring as well. A big mess for sure.
