HAHAHA! She knows where to find the good stuff! Now, Baxter was trying to suckle off of Rebel this evening. I heard a loud suck and Rebel jumped in the air about a feet! |
I have no clue about puppies since I have never bred any.... But horses do until their Mommas push them away and sometimes that takes awhile! |

When I was 20 I had brought home a baby kitten that suckled on my Doberman. Shane was so gentle and kind. He was not liking it. He just showed his teeth and growled while the kitten did this..it was hilarious. He didn't move just showed his teeth and growled. I guess quitting the nipple is just as hard as quitting smoking :yelrotflm |

Irene I will have to say that I have never had one of my adult try to suckle on one of my mamas.. :p |
Irene, I don't know.... you may hold the doggie nursing record I had a mare that we weaned and 6 months later put back with her mamma and she started sucking again. In fact she nursed her mamma off and on until just before SHE has her first foal-- she was over 3 years old. LOL |
Hee Hee Hasn't happened here, but it would be funny to see! :D |
1 Attachment(s) The last litter I had to hand raise, so they received alot of my attention. They loved to suck on my thumb, they are now 9 mths old and the male of the litter still sucks on his new mommies thumb before he falls asleep. I had him for a long weekend and he would literally chase my little boy arolund the house adn try to reach his thumb. Tyler would eventually sit and let him until he fell asleep. |
