You could make a liver broth, and see if she is interested in her prior food with the broth overtop. You can try a little parmesan cheese grated over her food. You could mix in the hotdogs with healthier food to see if that entices her appetite. You could also consider healthier "hotdogs", here we have turkey hotdogs and chicken hot dogs..... Finally you could try home cooking for her. Best of luck with your gal and puppy |
thank you so much for the quick reply, very much appreciated ill go outr local store now and see if they have any healthier options |
One of my girls recently went off her food after a c-section. I added a good amount of chicken liver to it and she's now eating everything I put in front of her. :) |

My girl had a c-section 9 wks ago and she also turned down everything. Beef liver she would eat a little and cottage cheese. It takes 3-4 weeks to get the apetite back to normal. Leave food and water down 24-7 she will eat when hungry. Good luck! |
hello there, i forgot to post, she had light food chicken and rice right beside her little bed 24/7 and fresh water every couple of hours, on monday, my wife started to feed her by hand and she is eating now, but still by hand ,but what a differance, to our little girl and as such the pup is coming on leaps and bound, thank you all for the help when we were struggling:cool: |
Try Stella & Cheweys freeze dried--break up the patties. All my dogs love these surf and turf patties and chicken or duck too. |
