Pregnant Yorky my little girl is now 7 weeks pregnant and i like to know if it is normal if she looks so misrable?? i know that she will sleep a lot now so if anyone has any help or edvice then pls let me know ty |
What research have you done to prepare yourself for this event? This could cost you a substantial amount of money, like $2000.00-$4000.00+ in emergency vet bills, in the event of an emergency....hopefully, for the sake of your dam and the litter, this is not a problem for you. Hopefully, you have an appointment to do an xray to give you the chance to see how many babies you are expecting, and you can measure heads/pelvic ratio to see if they will pass through the pelvic ring. I pray you have a mentor to help you thru this whelping....at the very least, that you have read a book or watched a video.... |
Don't worry about that I have my vet on standby and my mother in law is also there when it happens |
Is your mother-in-law an experienced Yorkie breeder? What has she said about the questions you have asked here? |

Me too. What has been her weight gain over the past seven weeks. Her girth measurement change? I hope that all goes well for you and your bitch. |
She is just telling me to relax that everything is fine and normal I just a little scared since she is my pride and joy and I don't wont anything happening to her And yes my mother in law had yorkys bevor so she knows what to do with the birth but I just like to get as much info on it as I can get She wait bevor the pregnancy 5.5 pounds and now in her 7 week 7 pounds |

Your girl should have a clear gooey discharge so make sure you keep her vulva clean because often the pregnant mom gets to clean herself. |

She is 1 1/2 years old the pregnancy was not pland !!! Bevor I could pick her up it was to late But I know the male and he is a very healthy Yorky Soni know the baby will be very cute and healthy as well |
Anytime you let an intact female in heat, run with intact boys, you can PLAN on a breeding! |
