Breeders I would like to know some good breeders that you know. Anywhere it doesn't matter, just good breeders please:). |
Anyone!!:) |
I got cedric from a women in newport nh but my others yorkies are rescues and honestly I will only continue to get rescuses in my future because there are just to many dogs in need. ps did you see the biewer and how did that work out??? |
Thank you anyone else!! |
What kind of breeder are you looking for? Yorkie? Biewer? |
both!!:) |
For Yorkies I aways recommend the YTCA website: Breeder Listing For the Biewer, I recommend you talking with For Biewers I recommend you talking to someone who's a member of the BBCA Biewer Breed Club of America. Both of these types of breeders are expensive, but I'd rather you save up and buy a healthy dog then try and buy a bargain dog who could end up costing you more in the long run. |
yah thank you :) |
So what happened with the Biewer you were supposed to go and see? Did you get to see her? |
We also gave begun a search. This will be our second. Don't have any experience yet with this breeder but we have it on our "short list": Empyrean. I think it's important to be able to see the parents. |

The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America is the BEST place to look for a yorkie breeder because they are the mother club and there list of things that there breeders have to do is the best things a breeder should fallow but even then you need to do you research and make sure you the breeder is reputable you also need to have your male fixed if you want a female because no reputable breeder will place a female puppy in your home when you have an unfixed male. Somethings a good breeder does that might help you are they never breed a female under 5 pounds, they keep the puppies until 12 weeks, they dock tails, there use the AKC registry, they don't have a lot of different breeds that they breed, they don't have more then one litter born at a time so they can offer personal care to each litter, you can see both parents, you can see where there dogs and the puppies are living, and they have a spay and neuter contract because they don't want just any one breeding there lines. There is probably more I'm not thinking of but if you find a breeder you can post it here and we can look at them. |

I just noticed I repeated myself, I need to start proofreading my typing. "For the Biewer, I recommend you talking with For Biewers I recommend you talking to . . ." Anyway, I agree with you on the BBCA! |
Amazing Yorkies, Deb Sillers, is a wonderful breeder and she is a member of YT. |
