Lilli has had 2 girls and one boy she just now got done about 15 mins ago she had all three in a hour and half! GO LILLI!!!!!

Whoo Lilli! Way to go! Half hour eh? That was fast! What a Christmas present!

I laughed when I saw the date on your picture, I don't know how to change the date on mine.

I have an idea....Since they are Xmas babies you could name them

Noel, Joy, Peace or even EVE since they are Xmas Eve babies................and well for a boy I just dont know...LOL

She had them in a hour and half, I hope all goes well they are nursing so i hope she has milk, if she didnt they would be cring wouldnt they?

Check if your mommy has colostrum by squeezing each (the smaller upper ones as well) teat (not at the tip) further back to force it up. The milk will follow. Tomorrow you should go to your 24 hour vet and get an oxytocin clean out shot, this will rid any left over placenta also helps as milk let down ensues. It is the most vital part of the newborns existence to receive the first few days milk If the mom refuses to nurse the puppies or has no milk, you will need to bottle feed the puppies. You might also have to stimulate them to urinate and have bowel movements. This is done with a warm cloth or cotton ball that's moist rubbed around the genital areas. A newborn puppy can not defecate or urinate on it's own for about 2-3 weeks.

Congratulations! I'm glad everything went well. Have any idea how many ounces the puppies are? They're so tiny when first born.

These babies came out fat they all where around 4 ounces the biggest was 4.4 thats the male he is such a mommas boy he stays with her non stop the little girls love to travel:) I am having to go back and fourth giving them out from behind her I have side rails but they still manage, and the littlest girl let you know when shes not happy she gets mad when her siblings try to take a tit all i have done is watch these precious babies i cant keep my eyes off of them and Lilli isnt either:)I thought this pic was so cute i have to share will all of you, the little boy is of course right next to mom,Kristi
