My Itty bitty yorkies Anyone ever Used or heard of someone who has used Rose Hanson of My Itty Bitty Yorkies in California? Seriously looking at her to buy from but would have to fly from Memphis to check them out. |
You don't have to look any farther then the first page of her website My Itty Bitty Yorkies | Sun Valley, CA a breeder who uses the word teacup is just in it for money which means they don't do genetic testing and don't care about there dogs which means you could get a very unhealthy sick puppy. Please don't buy from this breeder and support her doing harm to our loved breed. |
Here is a list of Yorkies for sale in your area that you could do some research on. If you find someone, ask for their Vets. phone number so you can call and get information on her, and do a home check to see how the pups are taken care off, and if they ask you as many questions as you would ask them. Good luck in your search. Yorkies for sale in memphis tn - Yakaz For sale |
Holy @&%* $6000.00 for a puppy!!?? Talk about using the term micro and teacup as a ploy for getting high prices! Even my Show pups are less than 1/2 price of hers. Of course, they're not "teacups"! So sad! |
wow! I can't believe the prices.....micro teacups?!:thumbdown they are very cute, I hope they are healthy, poor things! |
I wouldnt even go there............ |
I noticed they refer you to another breeder who breeds "teacup" to. I personally would not think of buying from someone who is trying to breed tiny's on purpose. |

Natalies is bad too? |
Good breeders don't sell from a website, they want to meet the person they are selling the dog to. Having a Paypal on their website is a huge red flag! This breeder will also sell breeding rights for $500.00 more, another red flag. Go to a breeder who breeds for health, many breeders have yorkies on the smaller size because they DON'T breed them. |

On the home page of my website, FiggsYorkies.com, I have the following sentence. Although the American Kennel Club does not recognize "teacup" as an official size for small yorkies, we do occasionally produce tiny little yorkie puppies. Would you consider that a "red flag"? The only reason that it is there is so if anyone was doing a keyword search with the word "teacup" in it, they might find me. I have learned that the word "teacup" means something different to a different people. After talking to someone for a few minutes, sometimes I learn that what they are calling a teacup is really just the normal size for a yorkie 4-7lbs. I don't breed to get tiny puppies - they just happen sometimes. I breed for health, appearance, and temperament, and try really hard to be a responsible breeder. Opinions welcome. |

What do you mean you are breeding for health? What types of testing do you do? |

Rose Hanson I have a 1 yr old female purchased from Rose Hanson last year when she was 12 weeks old. Rose is wonderful. The parents live with her and when you visit the puppies, you meet all. We visited our pup from 6 weeks to 12 weeks many times at Rose's and observed all the parents and pups. My pup weighs just 2 lbs full grown. She is sweet, fun, feisty, loving and adorable looking. She is my 3rd Yorkie and so worth what I paid. Rose has wonderful accommodations for her dogs in her house and they are all part of her family. I am so so tired of all the haters. Please feel free to ask me any questions. Shaas8@aol.com |
