please don't give her too much chicken broth is high in sodium and not good for her, I give my girls that are in the first stage of labor a half a cup of red rabsberry leaf tea, is great for them, and not high in sodium, also hold a bit on the calcium , since is been proven that too much calcium before whelping can cause uterine inertia.. just be vigilant and get a hold of the tea you can buy it in the supermarket or your natural vitamin stores.. hugs, |

Good luck to you and your girl; sounds like it may be a long night for the two of you, as I'm sure the last day or so has been. This is such an exciting time and nerve-wracking at the same time. Nothing silly about anything you mentioned in an earlier post Yorkiemom1. I too am right by my girls' side when they are near or in labor, during labor, and for many days & nights after tending to her every need and that of her babies. |

If her temp is still 98 tomorrow should I contact my vet? |
if you nervous, yes you should, try not to be nervous, she will pick on that and not go in full blown labor, she should be going into labor very soon here's a great site I review every time I have a litter..
