I think we may finally be in early labor. Been having contractions every 5 to 8 mins. She is starting to dig a little......and is shaking a bit. No panting yet......but think we are on the way. Will update as soon as I have an update........could be a long night.

here with you... are you going to give her the red rabsberry leaf tea, as soon as stage 3 sets in?

Miss T had 2 puppies come down at once. Er vet....doing c section now. So upset.......they kicked us out of the hospital.....had to lock up......very bad experience so far. Wll fill you all in later. Should get a call by 5am.

Any advice for section moms???? Always natural here....

Mama and babies arfe doing great......just got the call.....but to our amazement our six packbis a 5 pack. Lol. So thrilled everyone is thriving will give details when I know more.

oh, so sorry for the C- section, but CONGRATS on the quintuplets..:D I can't wait for you to bring her home and take some pictures for us...

Congrats. Glad mom and the babies are doing well.

We were home by six. Took some patience to get babies to nurse.....miss t doesn't have much milk yet...got the oxy shot to help with that. She thinks the pups are aliens.....and has shown little interest....but wioll let them nurse one or two at a time.

Got their bene bac and nutri drops when we got home. 3 boys weighing 4.5 ozs each and 2 girls weighing 4 ozs each. Big big babies.......:) parti babies are just too cute. Will post pics asap.

with a c is always a challenge the first few hours, but she will get the hang, can't wait for pictures, I have to go out but will check as soon as i am back home..

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! What a beautiful group of babies!!! Loving the "Wizard" with the lightening bolt!!! I cant WAIT until I can get my Fancy to stand still for Rowdy!!! I want some partis!!!!

From what I've read, it might take a little while for a section momma to get maternal, I think they get confused, all of a sudden they have puppies:laugh: I think the labor process helps them to really know what's up and that those are her babies. I've read to just keep them nursing, potty them if she's not doing it, and be patient. She will come around. I'm no breeder, just read alot:laugh:

Awww so beautiful!

They are settling in beautifully!! Mamas instincts kicked in shortly after my last post. She has been fabulous!!! Only leaving to wolf down her food (she is eating like she has never eaten before) go potty and back to the kids.

All the babies are nursing like champs and have been able to maintain their weight by this morning. Not a bit lost. Hopefully by tomorrow we will see a bit of a gain. I was just happy not to see any loss. I may supplement a little bit tonight....want them to have 36 hours on mama alone to get ever drop of that colostrum that they can get.

I finally feel human!! After being up for 48 hours straight......I slept like a baby last night....had my new mommy ears on.....waking up a few times when I would hear anyone move about. (She keeps these babies so content, they hardly make a peep!! And is such a good mommy I don't need to do much!) I slept 9 hours!! I may actually be able to get some house work done around here today! LOL

Thanks much! Harry Potter has a sister......who has a bolt on her forehead.......LOL I will post pics of it later......I absolutely love the parti puppies. I just love the yorkie breed all together....but love the color varaition on the partis and the chocolates, blondes, goldens....etc. :D

Our babies are a week old today, figured it was time for an update.

All little ones are doing well, and so is mama. All have gained a nice amount of weight, they have not doubled yet....but with 5 and sharing the milk supply I figure it could take a bit longer. All pups are now between 6 and 7ozs.

Miss T finished her antibiodics, and is producing a nice amount of milk. She is just about back to her old self. I am poking food in her like crazy. Before c section she weighed 7 pounds 6 ozs. After 5 pounds 2 ozs. (LESS than she weighed before getting pg) Now a week later she weighs 5 pounds 9 ozs. She is so so so so spoiled, SHE WILL NOT eat unless I hand feed her. NOR will she drink unless I hold the bowl for her. WHen I do she eats and drinks TONS, if I don't she won't touch it. I am up there 8 times a day holding her water dish, and LITERALLY picking up her canned food mixed with dry in my fingers for her to eat, she will NOT eat out of her dish, it has to be in my hand. AND she will ONLY eat if she is in the whelping box with the puppies. She LOVES LOVES LOVES whelping pudding and the puppy formula, I STILL have to hold the dishes for her. LOLLOL!

Just a few pics......I tried so hard to take pics.....they are too busy to get them individually......all I end up with is blurs. This is the best I could do for now. :D

First pic is the whole group....second pic is my smallest baby a girl weighing 6.2 ozs this is Harry Potters sister, with a lightning bolt on her head. The next one is one of the boys. (Can't tell which one, but was a nicer face shot.)
