Hi there! Yes vomiting occasionally is very common. If vomiting is frequent, that isn't normal. Feed smaller meals, several times a day, instead of a big one in the morning and evening. That could help with her nausea. Discharge, if clear is ok. If she has several babies, you may be able to see them moving a tiny bit soon! My girl is 43 days in, and during doppler checking for heart beats, I saw several tiny movements especially as she breathed in, but that was with careful scrutiny of the belly. She has quite a few babies though, I am thinking 5, as per heartbeats! Good luck to you! |

good luck to you also !!:aimeeyork |
Yes she is big already, her belly right now looks like Bella did at 63 days with 3 pups! She has gained 1.4 pounds as of 41 days, all in the belly! I am being extremely careful with TBell as far as jumping and rough housing. This girl thinks she is a mountain goat and will climb and jump heights that my other yorkies wouldn't even attempt. I 'think' she almost realizes that she shouldn't be doing those things now, she has been waiting for me to help her get off and on the bed. :) Are you going to get an xray of Bella?? That is a good way to get an estimate of pups. Not always exact however, last litter we got an xray at 57 days, vet said possibly 3 pups, but bones weren't calcified completely, looked like a 45 day xray, and asked about her dates. We had ties from my daughters bday on May 22nd to June 3, not sure when she ovulated. She delivered RIGHT at 63 days from first tie 2 girls one 2 oz tiny and one 4oz. Within days my 2oz baby caught up with her sister in weight and since about 4 days old they have weighed exactly the same. They are both 1 pound 7 ozs at 7 weeks. |
My Silky Delilah is 45 days pregnant too, and yes occasional vomiting is normal during pregnancy, Delilah is not vomiting but she tires easily, I have not seen the babies moving around yet, nor I have check for heartbeats yet, maybe I will try this weekend. she is eating 2 meals a day, breakfast and dinner, with a cookie in between. she is a maiden bitch so she is getting big. I guess we will be in puppy watch at the same time..:p I am starting to put my puppy nursery together this week.. hugs, |
Hi Carmen! Nice that we will all be going through the whelping and puppy process together!!!! I just moved my litter from my bedroom, where my new pups spend 6 weeks, to the family room in their whelping box and ex pen, toys, beds etc. It will still be in use when our next litter is due, sooooo I need to get another ex pen, whelping box etc together for the new litter!!! I guess this will keep me busy and will hopefully let the next couple of weeks go by quickly!!! My TBell is on day 44 today!!! |
