Fwiw. My pups Sire was American and Canadian Champion. He also Sired the 2008 World Champion. Bitch was a National Champion. Still got him for $1500 because he was deemed as pet quality on a neuter contract. Been tested have vet papers. So if breeders sell pet quality for more I don't understand?? Breeding rights and show quality maybe. But my pup looks pretty good. I think he had good lines. They (breeders) just cant keep them all. Brewers probably can sell for more. If you can't find them then it becomes supply and demand. I have a brewer breeder by me but I prefer traditional colors. JMO |
There are some wonderful breeders out there. Send an email or call. They are very helpful and willing to answer your questions. I did my research though. The wonderful YT helped. What to look for. That is how I learned the breeder was not being as fair. I like the fact that some actually tell you how they evaluate the puppy. Helps me understand reasons for why. Knowledge is key :) Good luck in your search. You will find the right puppy for you. |
