Has anyone ever visited this website or know anyone who has dealt with them? They must have 8 different breeds, but the website says they are a group of breeders. They have some cute yorkies. If anyone knows anything about these guys, please share with me. I am starting my journey of finding a puppy.

To be honest I would pass, I did not like how they sell to buyers without screening them first....

Okay, that is all I needed to hear! I am new at this, so I am glad I have a place to ask questions! I think I am gonna stick with Seaside Yorkies, she seems to be very educated about Yorkies and has been helpful so far.

It looks to me like it could be a puppy mill but what do I know. The only thing that i could tell you is to go and check it out if you are close by and see what you think. It shows on their site that they have Bichons, Boston Terriers, Boxers, Bulldogs, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Chihuahuas, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Pugs and Yorkies. To me this is something that screams puppy mill when someone has that many dogs! This is just my opionion and I could be wrong.

It seems so impersonal. That's way too many breeds and this networking the speak of just doesn't convince me it's a place to buy a sound healthy pet.

who's to say for sure if it is a mill. You'd have to go check the place out yourself. They say they are a group of breeders. They carry 7 breeds. IT IS possible that this group consists of 7 people and they breed one type of dog per person. But like I said, I don't know, you'd have to go check the place out yourself.

PLEASE GOOGLE AND ALSO USE DIFFERENT SEARCH ENGINES TO SEARCH TO FIND OUT ABOUT PLACES YOU ARE UNSURE OF. Use all the search engines not just google or your providers. You can also fine out about name switching and owner switching and other info. this way if you luckily hit the right page on the right day.I have nothing bad or LIBALOUS to say about any place by NAME. you're so bad! I believe that if you've been to the place yourself, you should share your experience and what you saw. Someone, pretty much like the original poster, could be curious about this place and with you not saying anything, they could potentially buy from a mill.

I am not going to buy from them now, I was skeptical already. I think I have found a good breeder, Seaside Yorkies. I am however, interested in what info someone might have on them.

Maybe you should rethink them also. Their site say they "do not line breed continuously" Plus, yorkies are a toy breed, they don't come in teacup, toy or standard, the standard is 4-7lbs...Some will argue that it is no more than 7lbs.

Like I have said before, I am new to the yorkie breed, and value everyone's advice. Thank you.

this is the way I understood the seaside site also. That those measurements were just hers to give you a general idea of what size to order. I am sooooooo looking for a female a few months old but it is so hard. I would even take an adult. I do, however, have a baby yorkie contracted which I will still get even if I do find another female. Good luck on your search. Seaside sounds fine to me.

I was just stating what I saw, that I learned were wrong. I am no expert.

Thank you, Platinum Yorkie, for your advice. That is why I have started so early looking for a breeder, because I need to learn what is good and not good! Hopefully I can find a breeder closer to home anyway.

You can stop right after the words.."we are a group of breeders"...it is a broker who sells for other breeders.
You will never find a "group" of breeders who can breed and sell together without fighting and serious bodily harm going on...it is difficult to find ONE co-owner to agree with, let alot a group! LOL

I can't say it enough. I am so glad to have this place to come ask questions. Everyone has definetly (sp?) been helpful. I am grateful for ya'lls imput. I was uneasy about this place, but you all sealed the deal for me.

I searched the the name of the kennel on one of my boxer forums as they sell boxers as well as yorkies. Posts came up there that were not good about this place as well as one or two who said they were a broker.

The first 2 red flags are the number of breeds, and the location of Lancaster in Penna. One of the top puppymill areas in the US, and if they are several breeders, no doubt they are several of the miller breeders. Too many No' No's for me. I would suggest you either find a breeder by referral, or by visiting the site and looking at the facilities
