I have a question about teeth. Someone told me that just because a puppy has the correct bite doesn't mean that they will keep the correct bite when they get their permanent teeth. True? Sylvia |
It looks from what I've read that Yes it is possible that they're adult teeth may come in mis- alligned. I would ask your vet. |
Yes its true a bite can go bad when the adult teeth come in, the most likely culperate is the baby teeth overcrowding, which can create havor on an otherwise perfect bite. You have to make decisions around 6 months old whether to pull the remaining baby teeth or see if they will fall out on their own. I had 4 teeth removed from "Ransom" the baby teeth were forcing the adult teeth to grow outward, didnt want to ruin his bite because I am going to show him. |
