Horrible Breeders Bragging at PC party today. I was very saddened by some women talking at my P.C. party I did today. One was talking about her USDA kennel inspections as if the lady inspecting her was some evil cruel person and how dare she write her up for some rusty latches on her barn kennels. She claimed to have 30 dogs and all different breeds like yorkies, maltese, and other toy dogs. then it got worse when she started to talk about another "friend" of hers that had over 100 dogs at one time and probably has 200 plus now and is now a broker which they all said with such praise like it's a good thing to be a broker. i was FURIOUS but had to hold my tongue. it was the most awful thing i've ever experienced and i couldn't say a word without ruining a friend's party. :mad::mad::mad::mad: |
I know it had to be frustrating for you. I am not sure I could have held my tongue. |

do you have the names and addresses of the two ladies? I would report them, let them get an inspection!!! Give the info to someone who can do something about it -- at least it would be off your mind. I know it is a hard call... very hard.... and I don't know what you would have "won" by saying something. Maybe just say what your opinion was without pointing fingers.. idk .. you are most likely right to choose another time. |
Chrissy first name, Wigg, last name (i don't want this to come up on google really) and another lady i can't remember her name. they are licensed and inspected. that's the issue. it's Missouri, they won't do anything about them at this time. and the one bill that got voted to help was horribly written and will prob just get overturned by our house and senate and then never rewritten to fix anything for better. |
That is so sad! :( I know it must have been really hard to just sit there and listen to it. |

To me, people like that have NO sense what so ever. They are only in it for the money. Those poor dogs. I knew a lady that had what I thought was a kennel, but, when I learned what a puppy mill was ,years ago, that is exactly what she had was a mill. They were not her babies, they were kept in horrible conditions and it was just so sad. So, we got her closed down and THEN, she just opened up under another name. Crazy. She was shut down againa nd then decided she would just be a broker. I was livid with her and could not keep my mouth shut. Needless to say, I NO LONGER have anything to do with her, nor she with me. I was just disgusted. So, I can understand how you felt. It is hard to bite your tongue. |
How horrible, I wouldn't have been able to control my mouth or thoughts for sure! My investigated work would have kicked in and I would get all the info I needed to report them!! |
