Wow, looks like our temperature trends are perfect 1 Attachment(s) So Molly just hit the expected temperature rise and drop (see attached graph). I think our thermometer is .5 of a degree lower than actual temp however the temperature trend looks exactly as it should. Anyone know how long it might be based on your own personal experience, I know they say anywhere up to 24 hours but what have you seen typically in the past? Shes acting pretty normal right now so I figure if it happens today it would be late this evening. |
I should add, here are the comparison charts: http://www.debbiejensen.com/whelp/temp2.gif http://www.ohiolabradoodles.com/Labr...es/determ1.jpg |
Well....every dog is different. They say within 24 hours and I have found that to be the case. My experience has been even within 12 hours but then I've heard others say their girls drop and go up several times keeping them guessing. Either way... fingers crossed for an easy whelp! |
We just had 4 puppies. the smallest one is 60 grams, the largest 110 grams. The middle two are 90 grams each. Two boys two girls! All appears well, bring on the cottage cheese for mommy! |

4 Attachment(s) Thanks everyone! Here are pics (keep in mind this is a mixed litter as last time) Mother is Papillon. The little 2.1 oz baby has already shot up to 2.7 oz which makes me feel a little more comfortable, I was worried about him! |
