I just wanted to take a moment to thank Woogieman. Never have I met a person so willing to help a total stranger. You were a big help to me and my baby girl and I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you were here I would hug you so tight. You eased my mind and made me feel better about everything and that helped me to stay calm which helped Sadie to have a very good delivery. You are one of a kind. Thank you so much.

Donna, I'm so touched that you think what little I did helped in some way. I'm happy to hear the news about the babies. Congratulations on a good outcome. :thumbup: Good job, Sadie! :)

I hope the babies continue to thrive and look forward to updates...and some pictures!

I am glad that everything is going well with your little girl and her puppies. Some people might start of a little shaky but if you stick around long enough most find that YT is actually a great place with plenty of helpful people~like Woogie Man. :)

Yes I agree with you 100 percent. There have been a few but most everyone here has been so helpful, caring and understanding. Thank you all so much. Sadie will be spayed asap. I can not see myself or her going through this again.

I started off a little shaky myself. I came on very defensive looking for a mix. However, once you realize that posters aren't just talking to you, they are talking to all readers (including future ones), and they are coming from a loving place (for the pups)... you start to see that they really aren't intending to be mean in most cases.

The longer you stick around the more wonderful people you will find and the more you will realize what a great and helpful community this is. There is SO much good information here and so many good people giving it. I've learned to be a great mum to my baby just by reading things here and asking questions. I wouldn't trade YT for any other site.

I am glad that you have decided to have your little Sadie spayed. You have not been a member her for very long but there sure have been so previous threads where the mommas have needed emergency csections, puppies have died and even so moms too. I know that a couple of people might have made you upset but truthfully there are plenty of fast friends made from shaky starts. ;)

You would be very surprised how even I butted heads with a few members way back when I or they were new members. But over time it became evident that our belief system were not all that far apart. :)

In life people will but heads from time to time. I was only upset for a minute and it is all water under the bridge now. I truly never wanted Sadie to have any pups because of her shaky start and God knows she is to young to be a momma but it happened and I dealt with it, as well as my bank account. Seems I rushed her to the vet everytime I got scared. I already have homes for three of the puppies and I know these people are good people and will take care of these fur babies the way I would want them to be taken care of. Sadie is my baby and I love her so much and I would never intentianly do anything to put her in harms way. I am so thankful to God for this all turning out good. She did have a small problem after the pups were born, I took her to the vet and she had a placenta still in her but my vet handled it and all is well now except she keeps leaving the Whelping box, any idea what that might be about? As I was typing this here she comes. I have to go get her back in the box with her babies.

I would not even know how to answer your questions about a momma or her litter. Maybe Jim will be along to answer your questions. Maybe she just wants to be near you. Her babies do need to be kept warm. I'm sorry I can't be of more help. :(

About the momma leaving the Whelping box, Just keep putting her back in. My little girl did the same thing her first night.
I think she was just confused about being a mom at first and she wasn't sure what to do. She got the hang of it really quickly and is doing great with her babies now.

Sadie has very lose stool and she is going a lot. Is this something I should be concerned with?
