my babydoll is going to have babys an i am nervous this is her first an last litter . i have her due date calculated for april 6th i am so ready for it to be over for her she is five years old. |
I sincerely hope your babydoll is going to be OK. They shouldn't be bred for the first time after the age of three, their uterus doesn't have the elasticity of a younger dog. I would be talking to my vet about the problems this might cause for her. |
I have NOT a clue about breeding, but wanted to wish her luck and blessings! |
babydoll it was accidental she is being taken good care of an she is never out of my site as soon as she weans them she will be spayed she is my only child |
I wish your girl a safe whelping! |
I want to wish you all the luck in the world! It is always nerve-wracking having a first litter (Just had my second one last Saturday morning at 2 am!!) . I understand that this was an accidental pregnancy as that can happen so I want you to know that you can always come here for help. Just make sure you are in contact with your vet with any concerns, questions, and are making regular checkups to prepare your babydoll. Us breeders here, have a bunch of experience and are always willing to help the best way possible. Start looking into having all stuff ready to go (thermostats, weighing device, puppy supplement, hemostat, dental floss, heating pad/light, etc.) So do you have any questions that we can help you with?:) |
babydoll i will do whatever it takes to make sure she is ok i am scared to death she is eating like a little pig , i cant wait until she has them an i know she is healthy an safe . I am getting stuff ready for their arrival . babydoll is the sweetest little baby ive ever seen .i am going to be very picky where these babys go i want the best possible homes for them i would love to keep one of them |
sounds like you are doing what you need to be ready for the arrival. The more weight she can put on the better the pups will probably be. Do you have her sleeping in a whelping box yet? The sooner you can get her accustomed to her box in a pin for whelping pups the better. I may be sounding like a broken record with stuff you already know, but hey I thought it would be good stuff to know in case you haven't covered it yet (your nerves are everywhere). The more prepared the better the whelp will go, if you're nervous she will be as well. Just be ready for her to not want to settle down at first. During my girl Georgia's first litter, she wanted to play and was all sorts of confused with what was going on. It wasn't until all the pups were out that I laid her down and latch the pups on that made her realize they were her babies. Then she was a very good mama. :D |
