Eukanuba? I have been reading alot of threads lately since my Elsa has had a recent first litter. I have her on Eukanubapuppy right now because she has been nursing. I do not see any post about or even mentioning Eukanuba. Is it a good dog food? Another question: My puppies are almost 8 wks old. Elsa doesn't nurse them a whole lot anymore. When can I change her off of the puppy formula and put her on Eukanuba for Yorkies. Depending on any advise to my above question I will consider keeping her on it at all. Thank you. |
Personally, I am not a fan of Eukanuba dog food but I don't think I should tell you what to feed your dog. The subject of dog nutrition has many different schools of thought but I think everyone agrees that human grade high quality ingredients are essential. I feed my dogs K9 Craving but that was after I spoke to the different manufacturers of raw food diets. The manufacturer of this food explained to me exactly how his food was made, for instance, each ingredient is separately measured and added, while some of the other raw food makers simply grind entire carcasses. Many people rave about theses other brands as well and say their dogs do amazing on it but to me the k9 Craving made the most sense. If I want to leave kibble out for them I use Wellness Core because it is grain free and for all life stages. I dont feel qualified to tell anybody what to feed their dog but I do think you should do a lot of research on dog nutrition and read those ingredients on the labels. |
Eukanuba works for me my dogs are very healthy and & happy, I have tried other foods that come highly reccomended but they have not liked most and refused to eat it, so i say whatever works best for you |
I agree, I personally feed Nature's variety and taste of the wild, but not all dogs like it, so if Eukanuba works for you then keep it up. :) |
