Yorkie Valley Kennels - Tennessee
 
Hi everyone! Wow, I feel like it's been ages since I've been on here! The Christmas season has me so busy! Anyways, I'm seriously considering purchasing a baby girl from the Yorkie Valley Kennels here in Tennessee. I'm hoping with the next week or two to go and check them out, see the babies, take a look at parents, and of course ask more questions. I was curious if anyone knows this particular breeder, has gotten puppies from her, your thoughts, etc. Maybe she's even on here and I don't know! lol I'm looking forward to meeting her and seeing the babies, but thought it would be really nice if someone on here had some experience with her as well. Thanks!

if you guys think I should post this in general if more people would see it, feel free to let me know. :)

Good luck! I did a search and didn't find anything on this kennel. Let us know what you find.

She does have a website:

Yorkie Valley Kennels

Her babies are absolutely precious. And I found out some are from my babie's bloodline so I know they're of good quality. I'm more interested now in seeing her home and how they're taken care of and just seeing them all up close and personal. I'll be sure to let you all know what I find!

The red flags that are waving in front of my eyes are the size of the females. 4 lbs. Yes, her males are smaller but I have to wonder if she's breeding for tinies.

That was one thing I was concerned about b/c I am looking for a 5 lb. at least since my boy is a 4.5 lb. She said she does occasionaly have some 5 lb. and has a litter right now that a few will be about that size. So I am going to see. I wouldn't mind a tiny girl (so long as she was AT LEAST 4 lb.), but if I did ever decide to breed I would want no less than a female bigger than my boy. So that was a big concern.

She has some sweet looking dolls. I love the look of her "Holly". Very sweet.

We adopted our yorkie from a really sweet breeder who lives slightly north of Knoxville, TN. Sully is a wonderful dog, no health problems, and the breeder couldn't be nicer, honestly!

If you'd like her name and phone # please let me know and I'll be happy to share it with you!

If you have access to a scale, why not take it with you. Also print out the growth chart so that way you can accurately (as possible) determine whether the baby might be the size you are truly looking for.

Once you get that baby home, you'll never return her if you find out that her weight won't be what you really wanted.

The dogs are not AKC, but if that is not important to you and the price compensates for this fact, then check them out. JMO

Little Holly looks just like my Cheri .....but is only THREE pounds ? she is listed on the breeding females pages -

I wish you luck in your search for a yorkie - It looks like a nice place but nothing is better than seeing it for yourself - in person

That would be wonderful! I'm interested in checking out all breeders in the area as possible. I've been to quite a few and just haven't seen what I wanted yet, except from this lady. But until I go this Sat. to see her babies I won't truly know.

Exactly, I know I'd be too in love if she ended up not being perfect! I'm being good and not taking ANY moeny of any sort with me on Saturday so I will be forced to just look and look and be able to go home and reevaluate all I saw and what my true feelings are without having the baby at first. Thw scale idea is a good one. I just might do that.
