It is very difficult for us mere mortals to compete with all of you perfect people on here. Those of you who always phrase everything right and always have just the right word to convey your exact thoughts, and never have typos or omissions. |

http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/3360611-post2.html to what you just posted? Even if the ad was written by a long time YT member it still wasn't right when it was first posted. You had the same impression I did from what you originally posted. I'm glad Sugar' mom made the correction to help clear it up. Granted maybe she was in a hurry when she posted it, maybe she wasn't sure what to post, I don't know what the situation was, it was still an ad that gave the impression the pup would be sent to a new home sooner rather than later. I'm just surprised at how quickly you turned around to attacking those who were concerned. So if it wasn't a YT member, and they didn't go back to edit it, would you still be ok with the ad, or would you still be concerned? I'm just asking, it's not a personal attack. |

I do not believe it is right to sell a 5 week old puppy, but she said that she was taking deposits. yes she could have made it clearer and she admitted that and agreed to go back and edit the ad. No I would not be OK with selling a 5 week old puppy. but it is not her fault that we did not read the entire ad before attacking her. |

I hope when I make mistakes, which has happened many times before and will happen many times again, someone points it out to me. That happened just the other day and I had to make a correction. I think everyone was very nice in what was said here. No one wants to beat up on anyone, epecially when they are sick. Saying it would be better worded a different way is not being mean. She did go change her ad, so a good thing happened here. She said some had called expecting to get the puppy before Christmas so amending the ad is a good thing to prevent further misunderstandings. I have noticed it does seem to matter a great deal who is doing something, as to whether or not all will say anything against it or not. If we really believe something, it should not matter who is doing it -- wrong is wrong. In this case, an improvement was made and I am always glad for that. |

I can not get over the insensitivity from the same ole people over and over! Dee, I truly hope you are better and continue to gain your strength. Just ignore the ignorance and do not let it upset you. I honestly can't believe you did not get an apology. If your add did not say he was being sold at 5 weeks, you deserve an apology, end of discussion. All of you have stated your opinions a million times on where you stand as rescuers, breeders, the show ring etc. At some point you need to get a life and stop making others feel like crap because they are not YOU! Live your life with your convictions but dont point fingers at people who live by different standards. You would think some of the breeders on this site were Michael Vick by the way you people treat them! You should be ashamed of your childish ways! Live with your convictions, but treat people with kindness. Have you ever thought that by doing so, you might gain a friend or change someone's way of breeding, etc? Some of you are down right rude and hateful. |

Was this line that was added?: This puppy will not leave until he is 12 weeks old. |
puppy mill Now meganssmomm mentioned the Beagles. If some of you that have so much time on your hands would go to the show forum and do a search on me from about two years back, you would see all about those puppymill Beagles. LOl There are pictures posted of trophy's AKC ribbons and awards. The hubby takes care of the Beagles and he is now semi retired. he has bred, trained and shown, all in AKC, 11 champions of his own and many, many more for others. These are gundogs. he is in the MidWest Gundog Assoc. Hall of Fame. Indian Hills Kennel is quite well know . Not the one in Florida. My husband is VERY well known . The most he is doing right now at 71 years old is training for other people. We have a five acre training pen on the back of our farm. |

And some can do that with kindness and without harassment. Sorry, not a good enough excuse. |
