exhausted I just spent the last two hours of my life (that I'll never get back) talking with someone who was interested in one of my pups: they want me to give it to them to "raise" and "we'd" stud it out. Jeesh. I didn't realize there was so many ways to "politely" say no and so many responses that could come back to "NO". I know one needs to weed the potential buyers out, but wow, it's work. I'm not quite at the point of getting rude, especially when they mean well and are good hearted. Okay, that was like a little vent I had to get off my chest. Kendra |
Wow -- that is quite the audacity! I am sorry, I think that request would have brought out at least a short curt reply like "Not only NO, but He// NO!" Okay...maybe I would leave off the cussing, but still! Never heard of anyone asking for a free puppy that they would allow you to share in studding. Crazy! |

You will toughen up... I never liked being rude to people and boy have I heard it all...I always said it was against Yorkie club rules...end of discussion..LOL PS..you realize any AKC dog you co-own, you are equally responsible for what the co-owner does...seen a few breeders lose AKC privileges over the years when one owner played dirty. |

I guess this could have been a post in the 'strangest things you've heard' from a potential buyer !!! "Hey give me your high quality puppy and I'll stud him out and we can split the money, hey I know you don't know me, but that's not the issue I want a free Yorkie, he'll fill that void in me after i had to leave my other Yorkie with my parents because my dad liked him!!!" Okay, off to think of other things!!! Kendra |
I have two comebacks for people that don't get it. I hear stud.....I say sorry, all my dogs go out nuetered/spayed, no ands, ifs or buts.... The 2nd comeback is that I'm sorry but, the breeder of my stud has tight control of my boy's offspring....Contractually, I am not allowed to let any pups go with breeding rights. |
