I think it would raise the bar on the standards of the breed if common Yorkie owners and potential buyers knew the effort that is put behind it, and whether or not their potential breeder is a good fit for them to purchase from. Breeding has turned so political and frowned upon because of a few unethical breeders, but I'm still optimistic that there are fabulous and passionate Yorkie breeders out there. There are numerous breeders who show their passion and interest for the breed on YT, and that makes me happy. | Carmen is a man. Check out the website....there is a schedule of seminars....he travels all over the country and even conducts a cruise seminar.
Reputable breeder/exhibitors have taken more than this course and continue to take courses. Canine Genetics, breeding, whelping, training, nutrition, health classes. Learning never stops.
Breeding hasn't turned political, showing is and always has been. Anyone can breed, but are you doing it in the best interest of the breed. |
