Day 32 since 1st tie. Tummy not very big...just looks kind of bloated.

Sorry its not that clear, I used a camera phone.

She's still not very big, but her nipples are HUGE haha :D

I'm gonna get her tummy shaved soon.

Pre-heat 5.2 lbs.
Today 5.4 lbs.

She hasnt gained much, but she did have morning sickness too and didnt eat very much during that time.

Yeah I thought that too when I looked at it. My camera isnt very good. She hasnt lost her tuck-up at her ribs. Her belly is full/bloated, but not really big at all. When she stands up, her belly seems to be normal in size.

I guess it would be easier to see if her belly were shaved. I'm nervous about taking her to the groomer. They always make me leave and come back when she's ready and I'd just prefer not to this time.

Awww look at that belly...so sweet!

I would not take her to the groomer. It might stress her out.

get you a trimmer and trim her tummy yourself....just lay her in your lap and trim away!!......im sure you can do it...and dont forget the hinny area too............she trusts you and wont get as stressed out....cute tummy ............im still guessing at this point 2 or 3.

Day 44..still need to shave the belly (doing that this weekend). She was kinda bending backwards with her front legs flopped to the side.

Her appointment to get x-rays is Tuesday. The vet doesnt want to go past day 50 for x-rays unless medically necessary. Hubby wants to take off work to go to her appt too (isnt that sweet?). Men are such softies sometimes, but I'm a little jealous cuz when I had my last baby he didnt go to any appts-not even one..I see where I rank in this family :D:D. Actually he was younger and men get softer with age. I think I'll forgive him.

Anyway, she's a lot fuller in today than when I took the pic yesterday. Her weight now is 6.2 or 6.4 lbs (i dont remember which). I also think I heard 3 faint fast heartbeats, but we'll see if it correlates with the x-ray.

I'm working on her whelping box and will have it finished this weekend. Its gonna be adorable. I'm using a 2 door crate, making a cover, bumper pads, heat source, etc. It will be totally puppy proofed and cozy for momma. She hasnt used a crate since she was a pup, but hopefully I can disguise it and she wont know its a crate. I'll post pics of it as well.

I trimmed my Gracie myself the groomers might make her nervous...It's not as hard as you think.
