Does anyone know Debbie Crenshaw/debbieslittledogs.com Mcalester OK? I have recently lost my two very senior Yorkies (age 15 and 16). I am considering buying a Yorkie, and wonder if any of you know this breeder or have bought a puppy from her? Am just trying to do my homework. I am a US citizen living in Dubai/UAE. It is impossible to find a Yorkie here. I will have to import a puppy, so the information you can provide will be extremely helpful. |

I would strongly suggest you contact Ken Lambert, President of the Yorkshire Terrier Club of Greater Oklahoma and YTCA member. He would be your best source of reference in leading you to a reputable breeder. I've provided the link to his website. Dejavu Yorkshire Terriers - DeJaVu and Trishires-- Specializing in Quality! |
Yes, I'm aware of who the Crenshaws are and if I were you, I would look elsewhere for a puppy. Please contact a breeder through the YTCA breeder referral page. There are good reputable breeders willing to ship puppies (escorted) overseas. Good Luck! Yorkshire Terrier Club of America |

Yes, I would contact Ken too. That is your best lead. If he and Trish do not have any pups they will know someone reputable that may have pups. Also wait till Monday since they are very busy with show weekend right now. |

Questions about Debbie in McAlister Hello, Iv'e purchased 4 female dog's from Debbie over the last year and Iv'e been very pleased with Her and Her yorkies. She has very sweet dogs and adorable also. I don't think you could go wrong with her.:) |

I didn't know with the OP being out of the country if an Oklahoma breeder was necessary, that is why I suggested the YTCA referral page. |

Did you buy your dogs from Debbie at a breeders auction? Also, I do think it is a bit odd that your first and only post on YorkieTalk is to defend a breeder. |
Please, get your nose out of the air! There was a question about Debbie and I answered it. I get on Yorkies talk to see what's new. I'm, most of the time not interested in talking with stuffy people who think their Yorkies are better than others. Mostly, I look at the pictures and read about events. Debbie has some wonderful bloodlines and has shown in the past. Unfortunally, she has to stay at home now and take care of her disabled husband. So, please use yorkie talk for what it's for! Information and not slandering |

Will be reporting the above two posts. You are a total newcomer and have decided to stir the pot because you did not like jencar98's answer. :( |

I find it very strange that you have just joined this forum and have gone on the attack, find it very strange you just joined in July and you know everything about everybody...........after all this forum is about educating, not about clicks. No where did I discredit the breeder that was questioned. |

Yep! A gang thing a YTCA gang thing. |

[QUOTE=Mardelin;3187275]"Probably so, if what you mean a click thing is having a passion for the breed and sending people to breeders that are breeding to standard and not for the purpose of making money off of the backs of their dogs.....then it's a click thing, and yep I am a YTCA member and pretty proud of it." Well said! You always say the most perfect things, Mardelin. |

Always find it so interesting when a breeder is mention all these newbies pop up defending said breeder:confused: Very odd. And the responses speak volumes. |
Yep, very odd! Mary recommended Ken, since we know him and trust him. The OP was aksing about an OK breeder and that is why Mary sent in Ken's name. Not to mention him being the President of GOCYTC. I have been to his home in OK (yes, Del City and it is by the base) several times and I trust Ken. I am sure with the OP being so far away, Mary was trying to honestly give her a name of someone she trusted in OK, since the OP would probably not be able to visit the home. When you go into Oklahoma City, Del City is right there on the south side of the city. If you did not know it you would think it is OK City. |

Ken is also the president of the Toy Club and a YTCA member.... Just to add.....I'm pretty familiar with most of Oklahoma; LA; Texas, Arkansas, MO, KS.....as it is the Region I show most in..... |
Yep! A gang thing a YTCA gang thing. Love this one Mary! LOL! :D I'm sorry - I don't mean to be condescending - it just hit me funny coming from Mary. |
I was actually on my way to Debbie’s website to see new puppies when I saw the post so I joined this forum today to specifically answer this question. We purchased our beautiful yorkie from Debbie a little over 3 years ago and we wouldn’t buy from anyone else. We had just lost our dog of 10 years and we wanted to get another so we searched the internet for weeks. (My boyfriends parents used to breed yorkies but have gotten out due of the business due to health issues so we already knew what type of breeder we were looking for.) We came across Debbie and were very impressed with what we saw so we contacted her. We asked a million questions, she answered every one. We decided to buy a puppy of hers and actually drove to OK to pick her up. We saw her kennels, her puppies, the inside of her home, her awards, her documentation, met her husband and were very happy with everything!!! What else could you ask for? It is true, Macalister is a teeny town but why should that be a factor? It has nothing to do with the quality of animal or service she provides. Her dogs are healthy, happy, lovable animals. We took many of them out of the kennel and played with them, we wanted to take them all home!!! We are absolutely beyond thrilled with our Bella Boo and the way we were treated. We have already planned to purchase 2 more yorkies from Debbie in the future………we wouldn’t go to anyone else. She has many happy customers who I’m sure would gladly recommend her. Please continue to check out many breeders and see who has what to offer but I’m sure you would be very satisfied with choosing to buy from Debbie. I know we are, I hope this helps. |
