question for breeders Hi i have a question when you have a 1 years old female that is her first heat do you use diapers on her or what advised do you have ? had one of you use diapers to your female when they in heat ? thanks |
You could use baby diapers and cut a hole for the tail. I have washable girly pants that I have bought off ebay and just put a panty shield on it. |
Yeah you could have diapers on her so you don't want her to drip blood everywhere. |

You can use diapers (preemies) on them to help prevent them marking on your furniture and floors. They do make panties for female dogs for this reason. They make some really cute panties, even ones with ruffles. So cute!!;) Diapers will not prenvent a breeding. Just wanted to let you know this, since in the past there have been a few people on here (YT) that thought it would and then they had an accidental breeding. |
If you have an intact male you better keep them completely separated, even with diapers and belly bands. They will find a way to breed, believe me! I use size 1 baby diapers and I put a cloth doggie diaper OVER that because the velcro holds it on better. Double reinforcement! :D |
hi, i'm not sure if they have the shop where you are, but the internet is a great thing... i use panties from 'the bear factory' for my girls and premmi baby grows over- again, for double reinforcement! (and i put a babygrow on my neutered boys when the girls are in season- yip, turns out they can still do the deed!! the actual diapers are an awesome idea that i'd never thought of before! that ones being tried for kuki in a month or so! |
i bought a doggy diaper because it has an adjustable strap and a buckle so your dog can't rip it off. It comes with liners but those are pretty useless so i trim a female sanitary napkin and put it on there. works for girls in heat and for those having trouble with potty training. my only complaint is the hole for the tail is too large so you will probably have adjust that with a needle and thread. |
