I dont know what to tell you. Its like taking a child away from mom. She wants her babies and is heartbroken.

First of all I'm a bit confused as to why you took her pups away from her. Can you please explain.

I read your post on the other thread.....I can't understand why you would even bathe your girl's wound with salt water. You don't bathe for 14 days after a spay.

You've had one difficulty after another with this litter and I think you need to find a mentor in your area, one that is well versed. Either that or rely on your vet.

Hi ..i dont mean to be rude, but have you read the threads from the beginning????. You sound as if your telling me off lol. i took the pups off her as she had NO MILK...has got a temperature and it looks like her wound is beginning to get infected!... (she wont eat and i cant get her to take antibiotics i got from the hospital...i took her to my own vet and he gave her injection of anitobitic .i was advised by my VEt and the Hospital Vet if the wound was weeping... to wipe it with salted water!...which i did and dry....im taking her back to the vet tomorrow to check her wound! The pups are doing extremely well with their adoptive mum Marnie!!... considering wat happened.
Difficulties do happen... this is my first experience of one in the 10 years ive been breeding!

I have no experience in breeding, so I can't help with that aspect, but I have had to get my boy to take meds. Did you hide your girl's pills in something incredibly yummy?

No, I haven't read all your posts, as I understand there are several. That is why I asked you for more information. You were asking for help.

You've been having difficulty since the whelp of this litter and have asked for help on several occassions and appear to be totally unprepared and very inexperienced on whelping and the difficulties that go along with it. I am not telling you off, but I am very frustrated as your dam and her puppies have suffered because of lack of knowledge and expertise. My only advice to you at this point is to see your vet.

thank you for comments... of which are noted.... and yes... i was having diffculties as she went into labour 2 weeks early!!!!! NOT PREPARED for that!...the thread started, gooey discharge not due for 2 weeks!...i dont take to kindly of been told that i am inexperienced...ive been breeding for 10 years and look after my dogs... in everyway!...so i also take offence when you say I have put my dogs through all this with lack of experience!... so obviously you have had this happen to you then since you have the 'experience'... well i too can now advise if this happens to someone GF.
.. i like your end advise ' see your vet'!..... already been love!

Good Luck with your dams and pups. As I know you've already lost a few.

As far as this having happened to me, well no, but then I'm usually prepared for the worst and have my vet on board and take no chances. And of course should anything be out of wack they are immediately run into ER.

Gooey discharge and bleeding; two weeks early, any experencied breeder would know that is the sign of trouble and would get their girl into ER.

This is my last post to you as I am a bit frustrated.

did u never double check with someone more experienced than you in a crises ... ie Breedersonline = Breeder Talk!.... . everybody is entitled to their own opinions...not all of us may be in the same situations in life. Bye
