Info & Photos I was just reading a few threads about breeding and how a lot of people really don't know what Yorkies are suppose to look like. I was thinking that it would be nice if some of the breeders could possibly update the sticky on developmental stages and put together some pictures of what Yorkies "should" look like at certain stages in their life - maybe some in full coat and some in a puppy cut? At least it would give them a better idea if their dog is worthy of being bred ;) |

this is my third time trying to reply LOL :thumbup::thumbup: The longer I'm on YT the more I realize how true that is! I know non standard Yorkie owner/mommies love their babies, but I just don't understand why some insist on breeding more non standard puppies. |
I'll check and see if I can still find the link to a page that had drawings and pictures of different examples (correct and incorrect) of ears and their placement, tails and their length, how they were carried, etc. also, the correct topline. I know it was very informational and I learned alot about what to look for in a yorkie puppy/dog. This may not be the exact site I was thinking of but it's the same information: http://www.yorkiebaby.com/judge.html |
