Muffy LOOKS like a pregnant lady Now! Hi Everbody thanks for the help, Should I give her Cottage cheese for Calcium She had been on a feed with 27% protein 12%fat because I didnt think she was preg it has calcium carbonate in it too, but now I have put her on ( she is about 50 days) Professional River Run which is 27% protein, 18% fat, Also do any of you use Oxytocin at any time during delivery on yorkies, I do some on my Boston.Any suggestions? Also the former 2 year old (he is timid) that had bred her 3 times before and no results. should I sell him to a warm lap? He is Beautiful and fragile looking. What I would do is slowly start switching her to the puppy food you intend to use. Most breeders i know do this because of all of the extras in it. your girl is going to be burning a lot more energy and will need a lot more nutrients and calories in the next couple of weeks. Also I would continue to feed her puppy food as long as she is nursing. I would be careful about the cottage cheese. You never know how well you dog will handle the lactose.
