ever hear of this The breeder has on her site that the dog carries the "chinchilla" gene. Ever hear of this? |
Some believe chocolate and golden coloring is a mutated gene which is what occurs in the mink/chinchilla world with reds. I would assume this may be what the breeder is referring...her breedings have produce chocolate and/or golden colored puppies. |
When I looked it up this is what I found. The chinchilla gene would be black and silver. Have a Great day! |
OP....I saw that term on the breeders site you were asking about on the other thread. Yes Deb, that is exactly what the breeder has - chocolates/goldens. |
