Just going back on a few posts, I must disagree that I made it CLEAR what I wanted. I didn't even know what I wanted so how I could've made it clear is beyond me. I was here to see what you professionals had to say in the matter and I can't stress that enough. If it were clear that I were going to proceed with the pregnancy, I would not have been here looking for advice. I do underdstand that being in a public foum I need to be open to this kind of feedback, however, I don't feel that I have to agree with some of the assumptions made. Anyhoo....I do want to share that I just got back from a new vet with Mylie, and she IS being spayed Thursday morning. Finally, my mind is at ease...WHAT A RELIEF!! Again, I'm not looking for confrontation, just wanted to clear that up for anyone who misunderstood what I was looking for. |

Hmmm....OK. In any event, glad to see that you have decided to play it safe with your little one. Hope all goes well for her. |
Thank you |

If and when you're ready to breed, you will now have the time necessary for research and possibly finding a mentor. Do let us know how things go for her Thursday! |
I think that you have made a very wise and informed decision. Please let us know how things go on Thursday after the spay. :) |

That depends on locatin too. Laynee's emergency c-sec cost me 450 |
Well....my Mylie was spayed today. The doctor said everything went beautifully and she will be just fine. She was in fact pregnant but I am happy with my decision. The poor thing is just so out of it!! |

I am so glad everything went well. I applaud you for making such a difficult decision. |
I'm glad that you made a very tough decision that seems to be right for you and your girl. Just watch her close and give her some special loving tonight. |

I'm glad your baby is okay. She should be back to herself by tomorrow:) |
Thanks to ALL for your support!! |
I'm just reading this thread. I'm glad everything went well with your girl. It as wise to have your boyfriend's Yorkie neutered. I'm not savvy on what the risk involved with you girl's pregnancy would have been but I did want to pop on and say that I'm sure it was a very difficult decision to terminate her pregnancy and have her spayed. I commend you for making that kind of decision. I don't know honestly what I would have done if I were in that situation. It had to be very tough. Good luck and I hope you stick around YT it's a great forum. Elaine |
