Hello all - this thread has turned into a discussion that doesn't really pertain to Abrick's original question - but it is interesting nonetheless.

Since it's too late for me to effectively "split" the thread, I'd ask the original poster, Abrick, to post instead in the "Yorkies For Sale/Wanted" Section looking for breeder recommendations....and we let this discussion continue here for now. :)

Not the complete story. There was more to it than that Some behind the scenes stuff went down........If you notice theboxes doesn't allow for the parti colors. You have to enter the 3-digit code that most closely describes your dog. You have to go to www.akcolors.org

You are probably right ... I just gave a short cut answer as I understood from one of the original woman....maybe a Parti breeder can tell even more of the story. My interest was why do the Biewers and the Parti's look alike and trying to track down pedigree's.

There was no behind the scene stuff. There is no color box for the goldens either, yet there is for the black and gold which is also NOW considered a color fault. The color numberfor the parti is 014. You have to send 2 photos of the puppy when registering and each one is handled individually.

I was told the story by a previous YTCA President/AKC Delegate.....I'll have to go back and ask for a refresher, it's been a couple of years since I was told; round about when the DQ was put into place.

There is another thread about this where one member has traced the parti back to the same dogs that produced the original Biewer pair.

I am fully aware of what Deb has done and actually Debbie and I are working on a few things together...this was a number of years ago when I started my research.

How would the YTCA president know this...was she told by someone else that was told by someone else that was told by someone else.....get where I'm going here?? :rolleyes: I tend to go straight to the source when I want answers, not word of mouth. I will ask Loryn (CrownRidge Gems) and see what "behind the scenes you are talking about".

She was saying he was an AKC delegate so he was part of the process.

Banging my head....I can guarantee there was a ton more than what was said in my little note. About 10 years ago I stumbled on the Parti and I have read this was not an easy battle that happened between these ladies and the AKC. I can tell you that it must have been a bitter battle between them and the YTCA. There is always more to the story.

For anyone breeding Parti's you should know the history on these dogs and what these woman went through. The history should not be lost.

Why wouldn't the YTCA President/AKC delegate not know about this, since registering Parti's has/had everything to do with the Yorkie. You know not of who I'm speaking and this person is very involved with AKC and a lawyer.

Well when you get all your little secrets sorted out, perhaps you'll share it with the rest of us.

I personally could not care less what the YTCA does. I don't want any part of it. I want to be able to breed my dogs with health being the first priority and conformation coming in about 3rd or 4th on the list.

It' going to take a lot more than the YTCA to get the AKC to reverse their decision.

Have you ever thought about how many well known kennels would go down if they opened that can of worms, since the partis have been showing up in top yorkie breeder kennels since FOREVER

No, I said this person was a lawyer.......

You asked what I meant by my statement, I told you. Nothing hateful was stated......I answered you plain and simple......the person was a YTCA President/AKC delegate and a lawyer and would know what is going on.

Go back and read my posts I simply answered your questions. Nothing nasty and nothing was getting out of hand until you began asking questions with sarcasm.
