That is quite high, but if that is about the going rate for that quality in canada, then I guess that's it.

NO it's not.

I've seen (now that I know what to look for) quality CKC registered breeders with good bloodlines/Champions etc from $1200-$1500.

That price is ridiculous if you ask me.

Do you have websites that I could see? :)

I do know of Loriben from here at YT, but I'm not sure of her prices.

HOLY COW! That's alot! Geez the puppies are beautiful and seem to come from a very reputable breeder BUT that is insane. I have rent, two car payments, insurance, a 5 year old a husband other dogs and all those other bills.

Geez I would have a gorgeous puppy and be living on the streets! LOL!

The only thing that I have to question is the fact that she is breeding 4 lb females. It was my understanding that the female should be 5 lbs to breed. Is this true?

Also, I don't understand the contract very well. I'm just not good with those things.

But, I must be crazy because I would pay that much for a beautiful Yorkie. And I'm not rich! :p

Did I read something wrong on your site. What do your Yorkies weight. They are very cute babies but I am not sure about a 3 lbs with papers. Thanks Lissette

Sounds to me like someone is breeding extremely small Yorkies, and selling them for the prices that you see on those sites where they use to the term "teacup"

Not everyone desires a tiny Yorkie.

Standard is up to 7 pounds.

Overpriced, bred underweight, and knockin' a poor Yorkie with big ears in the process! I love the love you spread about Yorkies, snob! I didn't like this person's attitude.

I just went back to look at your site and you do have some Stunning Dogs. My only concern was Tater Tot 2.5 lbs. Do you stud him? I think he is gorgeous but rather small.

Now dontget me wrong, her dogs are beatutful and are quality but for a pet I don't think the price is worth it. But since you are investing into a breeding program I say she's the right avenue. I believe shell provide you with the support you'll need, the resources to move your program forward and the end result will be an responsible breeder who has been mentored and provided stock that will in fact better the breed. Goodluck.

Selling a 2.5 lbs dog with breeding rights is not good!!! As for showing, the 6 to 7 lbs dogs show better. JMO.

I think that her dogs look absolutely beautiful, I think that it is great that this breeder has been open and able to answer all of your questions, I would go there and meet her, and the dogs and see how you feel. I know people that have spent that much or more to get what they want, I also know of people that have spent alot less to get what they want, so as far a price goes, to each their own.

cant say I dont care for your attitude either ! :) but each to our own....hope you have a Merry Christmas.....also I just wanted to ad big ears is not the standard in the Yorkshire Terrier:)
