No time for a puppy watch thread

Rainbow was due Dec 7th. My Dad passed away on the 25th and about 1 hour before we had to leave tonight for his viewing, Rainbow went into labor. She had on boy naturally (3.88 oz) and the second by c-section (4.41 oz)

Here are mom and baby first pictures.. rainbow is home and is a GREAT mommy. Both babies are nursing well and very strong and healthy

I am so sorry and congrats !
My dad passed away just 2 months ago, so i know how you feel and i have no words. Just prayers and a "hang in there".

And congrats on the new puppies, they are both gorgeous! I hope they will be all fine and will cheer you up. Blessings to you , that is what they are, a gift from the Lord to help your heart heal !!!

Congratulations on your two beautiful puppies. My Mia delivered four gorgeous little girls on October 6th. They are now ready to start going to their forever homes and I am a little anxious about the process. I would love to just keep them all since they all have their own little personalities and I love them all to pieces. :) I hope that everything goes well with the babies and the pics are the cutest!

So sorry about the passing of your dad.
It's very hard to lose a parent.

Glad to hear that your girl and babies are doing well.
Hopefully they will bring you a little comfort and happiness in your time of sorrow.

What was the 2nd one. I know your vet was performing a C section at the time we last talked. From the pics I can't tell the sex.

So sorry for your loss. Hopefully yhour new babies are keeping your mind busy.

At those weights it does not sound like they were born early. Nice healthy weights.

OMG I am sorry,,,, I was so busy with the funeral and the babies I totally did not remember if I called you back or not. The second one was a boy as well and he is simply gorgeous. I am still a little perplesed at how well they are doing considering they were born 57 days from the day she had AI. But regardless, they are HEALTHY, extremely active.. nursing well, and Rainbow is being an EXCELLENT mommy. One boy was 3.88 oz and the second was 4.41 oz. Nice sizes I think.

You called me after the first one was delivered and your original posts didn't specify. But, with all the stress you were under, I very well understand.

Just checking to see how these little guys are doing. So much drama on some of those other threads they are 10 pages long and you lost your father and had puppies the same day. Now that is a drama worthy of attention.

I hope you and your family and the new little guys are all doing well. It must seem like a whirlwind. I'm sure when you have time to reflect back on it, it will all just be a blur.

I saw mention of your dad's passing elsewhere and want you to know again, how sorry I am.

Oh now that was just the sweetest thing to say. Rainbows babies (littleboy and bigboy) are doing wonderfully and are gaining daily. They are both very active and strong which makes me so happy. It really is a blur.. My Dad's funeral was yesterday and it really was wonderful that my vet offered to keep Rainbow and the babies at her office while we went to the funeral. It was great to pick them up and come home to something happy.
