You can get the tea at any health food store like GNC , I would not supplement yet, since they need the colustrum mom is producing for the first 12 to 24 hours, also what are you feeding them, most store puppy formulas cause diarreah in newborns, just be careful, puppies at this age are VERY delicate and can go downhill very fast.

Harmony went into labor early. She was due Monday the 14th. She has one boy so far. He weighs 3 oz. Will post pictures later. Both doing fine so far.:)

Congrats to Harmony and her boy
I supplement them with Esbilac. Mom is not producing enough milk. I took her to the Dr. today he said there's milk in there, it's just not coming out. He told me to let them keep stimulating her, but to also feed them.

There was a post earlier today warning about using Esbilac. Please be careful.

Just read the post about it. My vet said it was fine, but I will stop now. I will get the goats milk and mix it with a little karo as someone stated earlier. Thanks for the warning.

Congrats to all the new Mommies and Happy Whelping to all the soon to be new Mommies. My Friday is due in 2 weeks. I am extremely excited.

Harmony and baby are doing fine. He is so tiny...only 3 ounces. I tried to put some pictures on but I guess I don't know how. Can anyone help me?

had 3 boys ( I think they're boys lol) this morning. 5.5 oz @ 6:25am, 4 oz @ 7:05 am, and another 4 oz'er at 8:03am. I'll post pictures later after I can get her cleaned up.

She is currently having a fit whenever I touch a baby, will this change?

Congratulations, I don't know much about attitudes with babies, my girls are very sumissive to me, so I never had a fit problem.. hope she calms down.

When you are making a post there is a icon at the top of your posting that is for attachments (to the right of the happy face). Just click on the attachment icon and select the picture from your hard drive. Make sure the picture has been resized and is not too large. Once you make your selection then just click on upload to upload the photo and then submit your post and the picture should be attached.

Congraulations on your new litter. I pray momma and babies will do well. It is normal for mommas to be a little protective of their babies. Jut pet the momma and talk to her reassuringly and hopefully she will calm down.

Isabella has safetly delivered two females this morning, one was a still born. Mom and babies are doing well our only concern at this point is we have a REALLY small one that is not as active as the other is there anythhing to be concerned about? Would love any advice!

This is what you need to give that pup and make sure you keep putting up to the nip to make sure pup is feeding. I have had to literally had to open the pups mouth and put it on the nip to show it how to nurse. If nothing working try Buying some beef liver boil with small amount of water for 5 minutes, throw away the liver, take a eyedropper and drop 4 drops in the pups mouth, warmed not hot every 4 hours or so. This really works on a tiny pup not doing so well. It saved my male pup out of the last litter. Good luck and keep me posted.

how small is the baby? the important thing is to keep the baby WARM... like between 85-90 degrees. nothing kills babies faster than getting chilled. Make sure the baby is nursing. if it has a problem latching on to mom, put a drop of either nutridrops or caro syrup on the babies tongue, then try to help it latch on.

new Biewer litter
 
We just added a beautiful new Biewer litter of 2 boys and a girl. I will be posting in the nursery and I believe my website now has puppy pictures to see.

Congradulations to all the other litters this month.

Hi All,
My Bella Bear had 6 puppies on Monday December 7th, 1 died, 3 girls and 2 boys made it:D They are doing fine, I continue to get nervous at every little thing, but things always seem to work out. I have Mom on supplements and I cook her a egg every day. I do not keep her locked up with the pups, but I do sleep on a air mattress in front of the whelping box, Bella will go back and forth from me to the pups. The pups doubled their birth weight in 8 days! Hope that is normal:confused:, at least they are not loosing weight! Conrats to EVERYONE having December furbabies!!!:congrats::congrats:
