Have you taken her temp, checked her teats to make sure that they aren't hard and red? Did you get all the placentas out? Did you take her to the vets the next day for a Oxytocin shot?
You may have to hand feed her a bit. Her taste buds are out of wack too. Try scrambled eggs, cottage cheese, whelping pudding, parmasean cheese on the top of her meal is very enticing.
As days go on, she'll begin to want out of the box more and more. As long as she has easy access in and out the whelping box and the whelping box is in a confined area with a potty area for her. Milk only lets down every 2 hours and she knows when the pups need feeding and diapering. Just don't allow her free access of the house. |
