im so worried and scared...emergency c section
 

well today so far has been a really horrible day...My yorkie Geri had a healthy litter of pups earlier in the year and all went well...well today i noticed she was passing a dark green discharge..she in hersrlf was as normal as she ever is, running around, eating and acting totally normally...However I was concerned with the discharge and decided to call the vets....its turned out that geri was passin meconium, puppies only had very weak heartbeats and she is at the moment in time undergoing an emergency c section...the strange thing about this story is that I didnt even know she was pregnant, that had been no signs like last time...I had been extra careful to keep my dogs seperate when she was in heat last time and had no reason to even think she could be expecting...SHOCK is an understatement.....

The vet has warned that it looks unlikely that the pups will survive, which is sad but right as this moment im terrified for my baby.....She is also going to be fully spayed which im glad about as it will stop any future problems...My main priority is geri and i am so worried.....i cant stop bursting into tears and the sitting here waiting for the vets to call is agony...

Please keep geri in your prayers at this difficult time and i will updated as soon as i know anything

Ty for the kind wishes...i just wish the vet would hurry up and call...i just wanna make sure that geri is ok..i miss her so much already and she only been gone just over an hour

It\'s been a long time...I\'m worried!

This past Friday was much like the day your having today for me and my girl. She had to have an emercengy c-section. She made it through but the puppy had drowned for 20 minutes. They brought her back and she lived for 3 hours. I hope all goes well with you and Geri, and that they can save the pups. It took forever when my girl was in. I didn\'t hear anything for an hour and a half. Please feel free to PM me if you need anything.
