What can they have for treats @ 6 weeks? My dear sweet and now generous momma Bella Mia.........My bf called me at work to say Bella was running around the house collecting treats we had no idea she hid and she started putting them in with the puppies. The puppies of course LOVED the treats especially the bully sticks but Shaun took out the treats just in case. So we are curious can the pupppies have any treats like bully sticks, hard biscuits or anything else?:animal36 |
I don't know about treats that young:confused: I didn't give mine treats until they were several months old. It will be interesting to see what others say. |

I use Pup-Peroni Lean Beef Recipe.....cut them up into small little pieces. I use them to begin training them to stack for me on the table and on the floor. Those that are going to pet homes, I begin getting them use to the sit command and the down command.....we make it a game and by the time they go home they at least have learned the basic training stuff. I also use them when I'm grooming them a bite here and a bite there.....they learn to associate grooming time as fun and they get treats. What I do order them for helping them with their teething and of course keeping their gums and teeth healthy are C.E.T Chews the medium size.....they last forever and yorkies love them. Revivalanimal.com has them as well as the C.E.T Vanilla mint tooth paste and plastic finger to get them use to having their teeth brushed. |
LOL that is funny. I would think that something they cannot really "eat" that young would be ok, wouldn't it? Like a pigs ear or bully stick? They could taste it and bite on it, but not get anywhere? |
I use wellness treats at about 12 weeks (lamb and salmon), but I going to order some of the C.E.T Chews and try those as well. |
