THis is a great site. I gave a donation and got the welping guide and it is great so fgar. I would like to know if there is anything that anyone does not agree with on it. I know she breeds s**tzu so I wanted to know if there is anything different? Or anything I should add. For yorkies. I would recomend anyone that is new to breeding to get this guide. For suck a low price

Most of us use her website for our source of info. Everything as far as whelping and etc is the same for yorkies.

Yes this is how I found it. I just thought I would post my thoughts for all the newbies. It has such great information in the guide even more than what is on her sight. Thanks now I can read read, read. DOes anyone know anyother good welping books. If I go to a book store and see welping books should I look for small breeds and they should work?

I have found this site very helpful -DogBreedInfo- with lots of information on breeding, whelping, dams in distress, puppies in distress etc. I didn't buy the Jensen info but have read on her site everything I could.


So you want to breed, I want to breed my Dog, Should I breed My Dog?

The guide she emails you as long as you give a donation any amount smallest $1.00. It is on the main page at the top where it talks about buying the DVD. I would love to own the DVD considering I have no one to see a live birth, but I think it is a little expensive. DOes anyone own it? If so how is it?

on the page I posted above there are videos of live births if that is what you are wanting to see - also on youtube you can see live births of smaller dogs

Well, try to find that is breed specific but actually, the breeeding, whelping concept iss the same for any breed. My hubby breeds beagles and me the yorkies. The yorkies are much more fragile and I am always hands on with breeding and whelping whereas he just leaves his dogs alone. Unless there is a probleem. but basically the process is the same.

What is malicous malware? I think some kind of spam, but how do you know that it is on there?

It is spam but can also add viruses and malware that can
infect your puter, Its one of the top reasons for crashes
so please be very careful.

Ah oh -- I have been to Debra Jensen's site hundreds of times, especially with the last litter. I did just go there again, and my Norton popped up it's little notification that it blocked something from the site. It is so quick I did not see what it blocked, but it is usully some sort of advertising cookie, a surfing tracker, or worse a phishing bot. But if you have an up-to-date Norton Internet Security or similar program, you should be able to safely go to the site.

Her site is a very valuable source of information.

Author: Dan Rice, Barrons Educational Series
The Whelping and Rearing of Puppies: A Complete and Practical Guide
Author: Muriel P. Lee
and any and all of Myra Savant Harris books :)

They really are great books :) Amazon has the best prices that I found on the Myra books.

Your right....internet closed out immediately AND my virus software blocked a virus from debbie jensen's website.
