Singletons Are singletons always born big? And, if they are born big, do they always grow up to be big; or do they slow down and grow to be a normal (or even small) size? |
my singleton was 7.4 oz at birth.......she is almost 10 weeks....and weighs 3lbs and 7 oz...........breny has had some...and her first one ended up only weighing like 3lbs i think.......some end up big and some dont.........im hoping my girl will end up being between 6.5-8 since im gonna breed her and they seem to do better if they have a little size on them |
We had 2 so far... yes they were born so big.... and so gorgeous and fat kkkk and they did grew bigger than their parents... not too much but a little bigger ... We had C-sections both times. XOXO |
A singleton will grow the same as any other puppy. They may be larger at birth but their final size will depend on the parents genetics same as any other pup |
2 Attachment(s) Sadie had a singelton, he was 7oz at birth and he weigh's around 9lbs now. It's to bad cause he is gorgeous at 1yr old now but to big to do anything with except love him LOL. You know where he came from so you know i had plans for him. here are some pic's of him....Lynne |

I currently have another singleton...he was 6 oz at birth. I don't expect him to be big from the parents lines, but time will tell. he is a big ole butter ball right now, as he is getting the whole milk bar to himself :) |

I had a single that weighed over 5 ounces. At 16 weeks she was only 1.4 pounds. I don't expect her to get more than 3 pounds full grown if that.. |
