I think she is close.....
 
Our Yorkie is about 60 days pregnant. Today she is restless!!! She only ate boiled chicken, was licking a ice cube, ran to hide under the bed and is digging, panting, and laying on her back. I think we are close!!!???

well she was close we have 1 baby so far waiting for the other 2 should we remove the umbilacal? she seems to be doing it now? should we just let her?

I always cut my cords because sometimes the mama pulls them too tight and cuts them to short or can cause a hernia. Congratulations on your litter.

Good luck, make sure you remove all the placentas, take her in for a POP shot in the morning.

Pop shot is an Oxcytocin shot. It will assist in removing any remaing tissue and /or placenta left, and clamping down on the uterus. It also helps with the production of milk.

Mommy, 3 puppies and Daddy are fine! Harley is so happy Barbie and puppies are here and ok! :animal-pa Here are some pics.......Just 5 hours old. We have 2 Chocolate and 1 Standard Yorkie.

I have a silly question? When you take the momma in for the POP shot do you take all the puppies with her?

went and seen the vet she said mommy and babies look fine. :):)
we have 2 Chocolate girls and 1 Standard boy.:):):)

Yes, each time we have been to the vet we bring the litter and mama. This way she can be close to them in the truck, in the vet's office, etc.
Our vet didn't think she needed a POP shot......:aimeeyork

Mmmm, always insist on it. It helps bring in the milk....why take chances of leaving any tissue behind.

Never, never take pups in if you can get away with it. You're exposing them to who knows what.
