Adult size? What do you breeders think of this? I have a little female that is 7 months old and 4 pounds on the dot. What do you think her full grown weight will be?? I am thinking she is not going to reach the five pound marker and we did get her to breed..what do you think? Thank you!! |
I think she may still get a little heavier. I bought a 7 month old tiny yorkie who was 1 pound 11 ounces and is now almost 11 months old and seems to be gaining weight every week... she was 2 pounds, 7 ounces this morning (yes... a real chunky one!!). Yours may hit the 5 pound mark. |
it is very likely that she will reach 4.5 pounds or maybe 5 pounds.... :) I weighed my 7 and half month yorkie 5 days ago he was 3.5 pounds. 2 days ago 4.00 pounds.. the weight flucutates depending on his appetite :) . |
According to the weight chart she should be around 4.5 to 5lb. http://yorkiepassion.com/growthchart.htm |
size If I really like a pup I will wait until 18 months to decide..I realize that is too long for most..but many of my borderlines tend to fill out..placing Claire would have been a BIG mistake and she was 4 pounds until a year..she is 4 3/4 and has free whelped twice. |

My guess would be that she will most likely reach the 5 lb. mark, but I doubt much more. Do you have any idea what the parents weight were? That should give you a clue also. Good luck! Tracy |
Bailey didn't gain anymore weight after about 10 months. |
