Baby bumps
 
My Shyloh is due on June 26th, she does not seem to be showing. She has some swelling in her teats, but not too much of a baby bump yet. I hope it was successful. I drove a long way to get to the stud. I would love to see some other's who are expecting around the same time. I am going to get an xray. I just thought she would be bigger by now.

She still has a few weeks to go and they don't really start to show until the last 2-3 weeks. I think this might be about the right time, day 35(?) (or just past it) to have her belly palpitated by a vet to confirm if she is pregnant. If it's to late for that, then guess you'll just have to wait it out. Has she had any morning sickness, is her vulva still swollen, any other signs of pregnancy? Is this your first time?

i have one due June 27 and nothing at all is showing. i am beginning to think she is not bred. But Rose is right. A lot of times you can't tell until the last 2-3 weeks. Instead of an X-Ray, consider getting an Ultrasound. they do them at 29 days and altho it can be wrong about the number, it does tell you if she is pregnant or not. I have another girl that is due July 1 and I already am hearing heartbeats altho very faint.:)

Hon, I had one girl that didn't show until the last week of her pregnancy. I could have sworn she did not take but I kept her with me all the time just in case. She suddenly got a little 'bump' the beginning of the 9th week and had FOUR little ones. I was left wondering where she hid them??? :confused:

I have one that starts showing at 4-5 weeks, you just never know. Is this her first litter?

I had this exact conversation with Yorkie3 tonight.....I had my girl bred and drove a very long distance to get to the stud, she is due around the 4th of July and is not showing at all, the only difference i see in her is she has become very picky about eating and has thrown up a few times, she hasn't touched her dog food for over a week, only thing she wants this week is chicken & rice, won't touch the yogurt, i did get her to eat some childrens pedi a sure but had to mix it in with her chiken & rice, i am hopeing it will boost her appettite some.

Yes this is our first time. I have a breeder that I just bought my sire from who mentors me. I just feel bad calling her all the time. She is at gotyorkies.us. She is wonderful even when I bug her. Yes we have a slightly swollen vulva, just about half of what it was when she was in heat. She had morning sickness a few weeks ago, now she just doesn't even get up until 9am....that is unusual for my girls. I drove hours to get to the stud, he is awesome. His pedigree is in my photo album since I just bought a puppy out of him. I hope to get him evaluated to show later. I stayed 2 days, the first day we had no tie, he got in but never tied. The next day they tied for 25 minutes first thing after they were rested. I am so excited, Shyloh is awesome and the sire is incredible. Mary helps anytime I need her and has given me hours of advice. Her yorkies are beautiful. She works hard on her line. She also wants a female later on when I have Shyloh bred with my new male but will awhile since he is just 14 weeks now. I waited and studied and searched to find just the right male. I can't wait, but I am nervous.
